Dr. Wanda Nitsch, is the former President and Chief Academic Officer of the University of St. Augustine for Health Science. With a strong interest in administration, Wanda completed her PhD in Education with a specialization in Higher Education Leadership from Capella University. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, past chair of the Academic Faculty Special Interest group and served on the Board of Directors for the Education Section. Dr. Nitsch has extensive experience in accreditation, working as a commissioner with one US accrediting agency and serving multiple times as chair and education specialist on accreditation site visits both nationally and internationally. Dr. Nitsch is a strong supporter of student-centric support services, innovative educational technology, and collaborative approaches to teaching and learning. Her area of research is outcome assessment, distance education administration, faculty development, and institutional research.
