Biography

Dr. Roche holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and serves as both a lead faculty member and Laboratory Director at the California Institute for Human Science, where she mentors students in their research. She earned a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Paris 7 and completed her doctoral studies at the California Institute for Human Science.

In addition to her academic roles, Dr. Roche collaborates with UCLA’s Gambling Studies Program on research related to gambling behaviors, prevention, and treatment. Since 2016, she has been deeply involved in the field of addiction, working in various treatment facilities and specializing in trauma-informed care.

Dr. Roche is an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor. She has completed extensive training in a variety of therapeutic modalities and regularly conducts workshops on addiction and other clinical topics throughout the region.
