Biography

Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is Host and Producer of the New Thinking Allowed channel on YouTube, featuring over 1,500 videos on psychology, philosophy, health, science, and spirituality – with an emphasis on parapsychology and the paranormal. The New Thinking Allowed Dialogues book imprint features transcripts of his interviews. Titles include Is There Life After Death?; Russell Targ: Ninety Years of Remote Viewing, ESP, and Timeless Awareness; and UFOs and UAP: Are We Really Alone. He is also editor-in-chief of the New Thinking Allowed quarterly magazine, and weekly newsletter.

He hosted and coproduced the original Thinking Allowed series that ran on public television stations throughout North American from 1987 to 2002.

He is author of The Roots of Consciousness: Psychic Liberation Through History, Science, and Experience; Psi Development Systems; The PK Man: A True Story of Mind Over Matter; and Thinking Allowed – a book of interviews from the original television series.

He is the recipient of a unique doctoral diploma in “Parapsychology” from the University of California, Berkeley. It was awarded as an individual, interdisciplinary major. It is the first doctoral diploma listing parapsychology as an academic discipline ever awarded by an accredited university in the United States.

He has served as vice-president of the Association for Humanistic Psychology, and also as president of the nonprofit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people are encouraged to cultivate their inner, intuitive abilities.

He is the Grand Prize winner of the 2021 Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies essay competition regarding postmortem survival of human consciousness.
